Warm And Sunny Weather Makes For A Great Weekend Of Football!
You would be hard pressed to come up with even just three headlines/bullet points in the forecast for today - in short, it will stay in hot and mostly muggy the next several days! This mean you should have some GREAT weather for those Friday night football games and the college football games going on in Central Texas on Saturday. Sunny skies and highs in the 90’s are what is to come, with the morning temperatures slowly rising into the 70’s as well.
Slovacek’s Tailgate Forecast - Friday Night Football

As mentioned previously, highs in the 90’s are expected on Friday afternoon. Sunny skies will make it feel warm before kickoff on Friday night, with temperatures decreasing into the 80’s as these area football games go on.
Baylor Football Forecast

There is great weather to be had on Saturday too! The Baylor football game against the Samford Bulldogs will kick off at 11 AM, with temperatures in the 80’s and partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will rise into the mid 90’s by the end of the game in the mid-afternoon.
Through Next Week

As mentioned before, there hasn’t been much of a change in the forecast for the next week. Any potential weather makers will shift too our north and potentially bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the Texas panhandle and into the great plains by the end of the weekend - but this does NOT include Central Texas. Highs in the low to mid 90’s and morning lows in the upper 60’s/lower 70’s will characterize what is a pretty repetitive forecast for this upcoming work week.
