The H.O.T. Fair Begins Tonight, With GREAT Weather!
A Glimmer Of Hope For A Shower Tomorrow
Happy first day of the Heart Of Texas Fair and Rodeo! The gates open at 6 PM Thursday (tonight!) and fairgoers will be greeted with the same warm weather we have seen the last several days! Highs in the 90’s this afternoon will give way to more comfortable temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s this evening. So get out, enjoy the fair, and the wonderful weather tonight! The same warm weather will continue for most of Central Texas on Friday, but there is FINALLY a glimmer of hope for something different in the forecast....
....rain potential! Don’t get your hopes up too much though, we are only calling for a 20% chance in our southeastern counties across the Brazos Valley. Most of Central Texas will stay dry on Friday with highs once again in the 90’s. The quiet weather will continue across Central Texas through next week, but a very similar situation may occur on Wednesday of next week (in terms of rain chances). Just enough moisture may move in from the Gulf to allow for an extra shower or two across our region. As a result, we are keeping a 10% chance (aka, not a big chance) for some isolated showers across the area that day. Otherwise, the quiet weather continues before we start slowly tapering off into the 80’s at the end of the forecast.
