The forecast for the next week? We’ll call it leftovers!
Just like when you make that big pot of chili or a big dish of baked ziti, the weather forecast is digging into some leftovers. Instead of the leftover meal, we’re expecting leftover summer-like weather for quite some time. Although temperatures will not be anywhere close to as high as they get in summer, we’re expecting a copy-and-paste warmer-than-normal forecast for the foreseeable future.
We’re copying today’s forecast and pasting it for the next at least week. Although afternoon highs today will be similarly as warm as they were yesterday, climbing into the low-to-near mid-90s, our morning temperatures have made a notable jump up this morning. Instead of starting out in the upper 50s and lower 60s, we’re out the door with temperatures in the upper 60s and mostly lower 70s. If there is some good news about the increase in temperatures, it’s that the increase in humidity we’re seeing this morning will NOT translate to the afternoon hours. Yes, heat index values may climb as high as 98° this afternoon, but humidity is expected to slowly decrease each afternoon for about the next week.
We’re copying today’s forecast and pasting it for the next at least week. Afternoon highs Saturday will be similarly as warm as Friday, climbing into the low-to-near mid-90s, the warmer morning temperatures won’t change. Instead of starting out in the upper 50s and lower 60s, we’re out the door with temperatures in the upper 60s and mostly lower 70s. If there is some good news about the increase in temperatures, it’s that the increase in humidity we’re seeing in the morning will NOT translate to the afternoon hours. Heat index values will be a little lower Saturday and even lower Sunday too thanks to a slow drop in humidity each and every afternoon for about the next week.
We’re copying today’s forecast and pasting it for the next at least week. Jokes aside, I could continue to copy and paste the same paragraph for next week’s forecast, but I think you get the idea. Next week’s weather features the same morning temperatures and afternoon highs day in and day out with any notable changes not arriving until at least the following week. We’re also not expecting any rain until maybe about two weeks from today.
