Navarro County Sheriff’s Office arrests murder suspect at Quality Inn in Corsicana early Thursday morning

RICE, Texas (KWTX) - The Navarro County Sheriff’s Office arrested a murder suspect at the Quality Inn in Corsicana, Texas, early Thursday morning.

On November 12, 2025, around 10:00 p.m., the NCSO Tactical Team assisted the Texas Rangers and the Rice Police Department with locating and arresting a murder suspect from an ongoing homicide investigation in Rice.

Authorities were sent to a residence in the 10000 block of NE 1060 Rice, where the suspect was believed to be residing.

According to the release, 2 individuals were found inside the residence, but the suspect was not located.

After further investigation, officers were sent to the Quality Inn in Corsicana.

On November 13, 2025, around 12:50 a.m., the suspect was found inside one of the rooms and arrested without incident.

The release states a criminal investigation of the homicide in Rice is being conducted by the Texas Rangers and Rice PD.
