BRUCEVILLE-EDDY, Texas (KWTX) - Paramedics transported three injured drivers to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Waco after an early-morning wreck, said The Texas Dept. of Public Safety (DPS).

The three-vehicle wreck happened at about 7:45 a.m. Friday in the northbound IH 35 lanes near mile marker 317 in Bruceville-Eddy.

DPS said the driver of a Freightliner semi-trailer was parked on the shoulder and was struck by a Waste Management truck that also struck a Ford Bronco.

The driver of the Waste Management truck was initially entrapped and required extrication by emergency personnel, DPS said.

All three drivers were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is still active.
