Freestone County Sheriff’s Office arrest man after stealing around $20,000 worth of aluminum pipe

The man was later found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a stolen cell phone.

FREESTONE COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) - The Freestone County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for stealing around $20,000 worth of aluminum pipe, who was later found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a stolen cell phone.

On November 26, 2025, the FCSO was sent to a theft call on CR 685, where approximately $20,000 of aluminum pipe had been stolen.

After a follow-up, authorities learned where the pipe had been sold and who had sold it.

A short time later, police were called again after they were told the guy who sold the aluminum pipe was back.

Authorities responded to the location and made contact with the male subject.

After a short conversation with the subject, he was arrested for the felony theft of the aluminum pipe and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine as well.

While booking the subject, Deputies also learned that the cell phone the man was in possession of was stolen out of Arlington, Texas.

Police say more charges are pending as this investigation continues.
