China Spring Education Foundation awards over 41K in grants to teachers
CHINA SPRING, Texas (KWTX) – Teachers at China Spring ISD were awarded more than $41,000 in grants on Wednesday, May 15.
This amount is the most ever awarded by the district.
Members of the China Spring Education Foundation went campus-to-campus hand delivering checks to teachers who were chosen to be recipients. This was a complete surprise to the teachers.
“They are all very appreciative and excited to get to use this stuff in their classrooms,” said Amanda Talbert, the Chair of the China Spring Education Foundation.
These funds will be used to impact learning in a variety of ways across the district. There are grants that will be used for ESL, reading intervention, strength and conditioning at China Spring High School and more.
