Infamous Ink holds birthday bash benefitting Humane Society of Central Texas
WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Zac Colbert, the owner of Infamous Ink in Waco, celebrated a birthday for someone very special on Saturday; his dog Dolly.
In honor of Dolly turning two, and this being the one year anniversary of her adoption, Colbert decided to throw a birthday bash at his shop benefitting the Humane Society of Central Texas.
There were dogs available for adoption outside of the shop all day Saturday. Infamous Ink covered the cost of adoptions and gave a discount to anyone who donated or dropped off pet supplies.
Colbert said this will become a yearly event to celebrate Dolly’s birthday and encourage people to adopt and foster dogs in need.
“When I went to the shelter to go through the process for her it was just heartbreaking to see all these dogs that were there,” Colbert said. “There’s a lot of these dogs that just need love.”
Frenchie Daddy’s French Toast was also there throughout the day serving food to people looking to adopt a dog.
