Providence Preparatory School wins first TCAF girls’ State Championship in school history

CEDAR HILL, Texas (KWTX) –Providence Preparatory School in Belton won the Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship girls’ basketball state championship on Saturday, Feb. 22.
They defeated Grace Academy Griffins, based out of Georgetown, 36-31. Providence finished the year with a 17-6 record.
This is Providence’s first state title in program history. The girls’ basketball program was founded in 2021.
Freshman Guard Elle Morrison was named championship game MVP.
