Moody, Texas, girl among two chosen for Team USA youth rodeo in Australia; community steps up to help

MOODY, Texas (KWTX) - The Moody community is coming together to help a local girl travel to Australia to represent Team USA in youth rodeo.
On Saturday morning, a “stick horse rodeo” fundraiser was held to help Lindsey Jo Barend raise money for the trip.
Top participants in the stick horse rodeo received trophies. Lindsey Jo also signed autographs and took photos with attendees for $5.
She is one of only two girls selected to represent Team USA.
Lindsey Jo is set to leave for Australia on Aug. 5 to compete.
