Central Texas College hosts first Aviation Fly-In

CENTRAL TEXAS COLLEGE, Texas (KWTX) - The aviation community was invited to an afternoon on the tarmac during Central Texas College’s first-ever “Aviation Fly-In” on Saturday.
Corporations flew in their own aircraft to discuss potential partnerships with the Central Texas College aviation program and to speak with current students training for careers in aviation.
KWTX spoke with the head of the college’s aviation department, who said they hosted the event to raise awareness of the program and showcase what it has to offer.
The college hopes to make the fly-in an annual event.
