Bellmead, Texas (KWTX) - The City of Bellmead has launched a new Community Conversation Forum, providing citizens with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with City Manager Yost Zachary. The goal of the program is to gather citizens’ input on city matters and provide an opportunity for them to answer questions through open, respectful, and structured dialogue with the city manager.

“As we continue to be recognized for open government and transparency, I want citizens to be able and come ask me questions directly or provide feedback regarding the City of Bellmead,” said Bellmead City Manager Yost Zachary. “Getting real facts out rather than what someone heard, and providing a greater understanding of what we do and why we do it. If we say open government, then we should act that way and be open.”

This new monthly forum allows citizens and businesses a chance to ask questions and address concerns directly to the city manager. The City of Bellmead wants the citizens and businesses to get accurate information without relying on hearsay and gain the perspective of what citizens would like addressed and be part of the city conversation.

The first meeting will be at 4 p.m. Monday, October 6 at Bellmead City Hall, 3015 Bellmead Drive.
