Baylor Scott & White opens comprehensive care facility in McGregor
October 14 grand opening celebrates new healthcare milestone for area
MCGREGOR, Texas (KWTX) - Families in one of Waco’s fastest-growing areas now have access to a new, high-quality healthcare option right in their neighborhood following Tuesday’s grand opening of the Baylor Scott & White Clinic-McGregor Harris Creek.
Baylor Scott & White Health held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 14, 2025, for the state-of-the-art facility designed to serve the expanding communities along Highway 84 toward McGregor.
“Baylor Scott & White recognizes the fact that there is great need for care for all communities, there is a lot of growth heading out Hwy. 84 towards McGregor,” said Dr. Dave Myers, medical director of Baylor Scott & White Primary Care. “The ability to drive deep into town can be difficult for people, so we try and provide locations that are close by homes.”
Comprehensive Family Care Under One Roof
The clinic is specifically designed to offer comprehensive care for every member of the family. From the youngest patients, with general pediatrics provided through Baylor Scott & White McLane Children’s, to adults seeking primary care from Baylor Scott & White-Hillcrest providers, the McGregor Harris Creek clinic serves as a one-stop destination for health and wellness.
The facility features McLane Children’s Clinic with 12 patient rooms and the Baylor Scott & White Clinic with 14 patient rooms. The clinic also includes on-site lab testing, X-ray machines and additional services to serve the community and patients.
The McGregor Harris Creek clinic represents a significant step forward in bringing convenient and integrated healthcare services closer to home for McGregor, Woodway, Hewitt and Waco residents.
Both clinics will open their doors to the public on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 8:00 a.m.
