UPDATE: Man charged with murder in fatal shooting of 58-year-old victim in Killeen
KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - The Killeen Police Dept. on Oct. 27 announced Bruce Lee Roland III, 39, has been charged with murder in the fatal shooting of a 58-year-old man on Oct. 25.
Roland III is being held at the Bell County Jail on a $1-million bond, according to online jail records.
Police were called to the 1200 block of Elyse Dr. around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Officers found the victim unconscious and suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene shortly after.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and suspect were involved in a domestic dispute inside the home when the shooting occurred.
The suspect, now identified by police as Roland III, remained at the scene. The victim’s name has not been released.
