Sawyer Robertson named finalist for William V. Campbell Trophy

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The National Football Foundation announced Baylor quarterback Sawyer Robertson as one of 16 finalists for the 2025 William V. Campbell Trophy.
According to the NFF, the 16 players were selected from a larger pool of 177 semifinalists. The trophy recognizes individual players that best exemplify academic success, on-field performance, and leadership.
Robertson is one of two Big 12 finalists, joining Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels. According to the NFF, Robertson is a marketing major boasting a GPA of 3.73.
The winner of the trophy will be announced on December 9 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe took home the award in 2024.
