No. 16 Baylor WBB leaves Paris with victory over No. 7 Duke

PARIS, France (KWTX) - Nicki Collen and company will return home from the City of Light victorious after taking down No. 7 Duke, 58-52 in the Oui-Play Paris season opener.
The Bears and Blue Devils were tied at 43 entering the fourth quarter.
A heroic fourth quarter performance from Auburn transfer Taliah Scott powered the Baylor comeback. After opening the fourth with a 6-0 run by herself, Scott finished the period with 12 points, two defensive rebounds, and a steal. She scored a game-high 24 points on 7-18 shooting from the field, adding five rebounds and three assists.
Prior to the fourth quarter, the Bears only led twice in the entire game. The held Duke to just nine points on just 4-21 from the field.
The win over No. 7 Duke marks the first top 10 win for Baylor since December of 2023 when the Bears defeated Texas.
Baylor will return to Waco to host Lindenwood on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Foster Pavilion.
