WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Despite over 550 yards of total offense, the Baylor defense was stifled by the Utes, as No. 13 Utah earns their eighth win of 2025 with a 55-28 win Saturday.

A career day from Josh Cameron (13 receptions, 165 yards and two touchdowns) another 400-yard passing performance from Sawyer Robertson weren’t enough to outscore Utah.

Freshman quarterback Byrd Ficklin relieved Utah starting quarterback Devon Dampier and ran for 166 yards and a pair of scores. Wayshawn Parker also ran for 129 yards and a touchdown, as the Utah rushing attack piled on 381 total yards on the ground.

Baylor falls to 5-5 overall, 3-4 in Big 12 play. The Bears will travel to Tucson to take on Arizona on Saturday, November 22 before closing out the regular season with Houston at home.

The Bears need just one more win to become bowl eligible for the second straight year.
