Low end rain chances the next couple of days
Heat & humidity still the major story!

Hot, humid, and rain-free weather will be in place for most of us over the next few days, but we are watching for the chance for a few isolated showers across our eastern counties the next couple of days.
A low pressure system moving across the Louisiana coast will bring some heavy rain across the gulf coast, but the bulk of the rain will stay south and east of our area. A few isolated showers are possible both Friday and Saturday afternoon, mainly across our eastern counties.
Heat and humidity is really the major story we are watching over the next 10 days. Highs next week will be in the mid-to-upper 90s, with heat index values over 100° expected all week!
