Hot this weekend, with only slim rain chances in place!
The forecast remains rain-free for most of us as we head into the weekend, but we are still keeping an eye on the potential for a few isolated showers today and tomorrow across some of our eastern counties.
What most of us will be dealing with throughout the weekend will be the heat and humidity. Highs this weekend will be climbing into the mid 90s, with heat index values near 100°. The summer style weather sticks around all of next week, and we may even see the heat build in a little more next week as well. Most days next week we will see afternoon heat index values range between 100-105°, so be very careful when doing any prolonged outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day!
