The warmth and humidity sticks around throughout the week, but over the next few days we will also have the chance for some spotty showers. Our best potential for widely scattered showers will be Tuesday for most of Central Texas.

Overnight we will be watching a complex of thunderstorms push southeast across Oklahoma and NW Texas. As of now it looks like this system will die out Tuesday morning before making it to Central Texas. Even if the storms dissipate before making it here, it will likely push some outflow winds into our area. These outflow winds will help to spark up spotty showers and thunderstorms throughout the midday and afternoon hours.

Some isolated rain chances linger into Wednesday, but we look to dry out Thursday and Friday. Highs will be back in the upper 90s for most of us to end out the workweek, with heat index values ranging between 100-105° for most of us during the afternoon.

A few spotty showers are possible again on Saturday, but for most of us it will be a rain-free and hot weekend.
