Tracking Some Nice Changes in the Forecast!
Typically August is a month where we are hot, humid, and mainly rain-free, but we are tracking some positive changes in the forecast. Wednesday will still be very hot for most of Central Texas, but scattered shower and thunderstorm chances are in the forecast.

A weak cold front will push into Central Texas throughout the day Wednesday, helping to bring us the spotty showers. For those of us that miss out on the rain, we will once again see highs near 100° and heat index values around 105°. Wednesday’s front won’t bring us any major changes, but we will see highs remain in the mid 90s Thursday and Friday.

We will bump back into the mid-to-upper 90s over the weekend, but the long range trend is for temperatures to trend in a positive direction next week. High temperatures most of next week look to be in the lower 90s, which is around 5° below normal for this time of year.
