Most of Central Texas has seen a pretty healthy wave of rain through the afternoon and evening hours. We will see a little bit of a lull, but another wave of showers and thunderstorms will likely push through our area during the overnight timeframe. We are not expecting severe weather, but some moderate to heavy rain is possible

There are some question marks on how well this secondary wave of rain will hold toghether as it pushes into our area, but as of now we expect the chance for early morning showers and a few thunderstorms

Some of these showers could hold on in our eastern counties through the early morning hours of Friday

Once this wave pushes out, we should remain rainfree for the remainder of Friday. We will stay rainfree on Saturday, but our next round of rain starts to move in on Sunday. As of now we are only expecting spotty rain chances on Sunday, with the better rain chances holding off until Monday.

Another similar storm system looks to impact Central Texas and holiday travelers across the region early next week. Monday could be another First Alert Weather Day, but we would like to see more of the high resolution data before we make a decision. Another big cool down is expected right around Thanksgiving, with hope for temperatures back in the 50’s and 60’s once more!
