New McDonald’s locations open in Central Texas as local restaurants expand
WACO, Texas (KWTX) — McDonald’s has opened two new locations in Central Texas, adding to the area’s growing restaurant scene.
McGregor held a ribbon cutting for its new McDonald’s restaurant in October. The location opened on Valley Mills Drive and Speight Avenue.
South Hewitt Drive near Interstate 35 now has its first fast food chain. The location sits outside a new residential neighborhood and offers drive-thru service.
Roni’s Mac Bar opened in the Cottonwood Creek Market in Waco. The restaurant is operating under a soft opening, with a full opening planned for next month. The restaurant is located in the same strip as Black Bear Diner.
Frenchie Daddy French Toast continues operating its food truck across Central Texas after nearly a full year in business. The truck serves French toast sandwiches in sweet and savory varieties, plus ice cream and other items.
