Sleep Awake is a unique experience in the horror game space. One filled with psychedelic visions, dystopian insomnia and family trauma. Unexpected as it is, flat delivery and uneven pacing cause the heady premise to miss more than it hits. Our review.

On its face Luto is a game about escaping the depression tethering you to your home. Trapped in an endless loop of the same depressing tasks, too anxious to leave and face your demons. But to look at this game’s story on such a basic level misses so much of its incredible nuance.

The scorching heat of a forge, the resonating vibration of steel shaping steel, the scent of hot metal being quenched in oil. All of these are things you would expect while visiting a blacksmith in some of your favorite RPGs, but what if you were responsible for making and maintaining all your own equipment? Well, look no farther than MercurySteam’s latest game, Blades of Fire. Our review.

11 Bits deft handling of heady themes like identity, destiny and self-preservation make The Alters character study made even more impactful by the sense of dread brought on by the threat of a sun scorched death looming. Regardless of your feelings towards this genre I think you’ll find an undeniable satisfaction in the loop of The Alters bolstered by cerebral, enthralling story that has cleverly executed.

Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is one of the greatest RPG fantasy games I’ve ever played. It’s a very French game, full of artistic strokes and deeply winding stories. Fully embracing its influences and filling them with flair to build something entirely new, Expedition 33’s adventure is nothing short of astonishingly good.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is a grand return to the series stealth roots that doesn't leave behind players that love the action packed fights of more recent entries. It's dual-protagonist story is excellently written, performed and is thrilling from start to finish. Shadows embodies what it means to be a good Assassin game and is a perfect next step in regaining the series' identity.

If you didn’t know, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is based off the film series A Quiet Place and features its own original story in the universe. Ravenous alien creatures rain down from the sky, and within a few months have wiped out much of the life on earth. The creatures have no eyes but hear exceptionally well. The film series is known for showing the emotional bonds of its surviving characters as they fight to further persevere in this new lachrymose existence. I’m Levi from Hardwired and today we will be discussing how this game stacks up to the film series.

After falling off with some less than stellar seasonal content, I'm happy to say Diablo IV is back. Vessel of Hatred isn't just a new expansion for the top down rpg, it's a rebirth of sorts for the game, with a incredible versatile new class, a solid story and some much need quality of life improvements. This is Diablo firing on all cylinders and its a ride worth hopping on. OUR REVIEW.

Ubisoft's first open world Star Wars game has a lot of promise. Kay Vess and crew lead an exciting and engaging story full of new and familiar locations and faces. But stunted stealth gameplay and a lack of true identity make Star Wars Outlaws a frustratingly limited game, but one I'm glad exists.
